hi everyone
does anyone know how to obtain a marrige license in the state of Ca. My sister went to the county and they said she needs a CA Id but she doesn't have one, I know there has to be a way to do this but we don't know how. can anyone point me in the right direction as to where and how she can get a marrige license with out a CA Id. thanks
You can call another county's office and ask them (maybe a more immigrant friendly county?) because I'm sure she's not the first one to have this problem in California or the people over at www.immigrate2us.net can probably answer your question or you can email tasksgirl and ask her what they used for her husband's ID. I think your sister just ran into an alicraper so I would just try calling another day or try another county. It is California after all, I'm sure there's a way for her to get her license.
