Missed opportunities

I know its not good to think about the sad things but...
Just wondering what are some missed opportunities that you have encountered due to your legal status.?



ill start..

Last summer I was offered at position at the APPLE STORE while working at a fast food restaurant in a mall. The apple store manager used to always pester EVERYDAY to join his team. I was only 18 soo a job like that would been awesome and I heard apple pays pretty good. Anyway, it came to a point where I would have to hide in the kitchen every time he came. I felt horrible, and i know he probably was thinking "WTF, why doesnt he want the job?"
if only he knew.......

Two months before graduating from college, I was offered a position as a 1st grade bilingual teacher at a school that is only 5 minutes away from my house.

About a year later I was offered a position as a receptionist & translator at a company that provided at home care for children with disabilities. Good pay & full benefits...

Umm... fun times with friends during summer/spring break vacations...

Asking Out the only girl I have ever had any feelings for... I hate my life.
Traveling with friends during summer.
Enjoying Life.
Going to A really good College lack of money.
Isn't Life Great things that seem so insignificant and yet we can have them. WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Is this the American Dream?

You can't ask a girl out because you don't have a SSN?

Traveling could be a problem and that's why you need to drive in a car or fly with a valid US issued ID.

I was offered a job at a Daycare that paid really well to just sit around w little kids.
I was offered a job at a few cellphone company stores that paid really good and gave out checks for like $3,000 for school if your major had to do with business.
I couldn't go to the college I wanted and instead I'm stuck in a shitty community college.
I wasted my teenage years working in a warehouse since I was 14 until I was 19 when I couldve gained experience somewhere else.
And the list goes on...
