April 26th~~

I know this may seem like a somewhat useless thread, but I just wanted to celebrate the fact that I'm actually officially eligible for the Dream Act now!

As of April 26th, I completed exactly five years of being in the U.S., I just wanted to share that~

It was a minor thought that had been lingering in my mind for a while, I just wanted to complete five years already!! Just in case

Today I was at a friend's house for her brother's birthday party, and the TV was on I dunno in which channel, but they were interviewing Obama about his first 100 days.
At some point they asked him about immigration reform, I couldn't hear clearly cuz the party was loud, but I did hear him say that he's expecting to achieve goals about immigration reform on his first year.
I was so glad to hear that, although I don't think he mentioned anything about the Dream Act.

I wish someone would've asked him!
