I really think DREAM act, or even CIR, is going to happen. But do you think it's going to happen this year or next year?

I just really feel like it's happening next year. I would like to be wrong but if I'm right, I just hope that nobody gives up hope if it is put off for a year. It seems there's a lot of "politicing" going on which makes me think it's being delayed.

No matter what, don't give up.

Check out discussions in the News section to get an idea of the current atmosphere in Washington. Personally, I think CIR wont be a reality this year.

On a personal note, here's something that really bothers me. I've got a student graduating this year and for this person, it's only year 4. So, if it passed this year, it does no good for her, right? So, for this one person, I'd like it to wait a year. Of course, I realize that's not really fair to those who've been waiting already, but I'm only human.

It has to be this year, i dont see any other way around it. The DA has never had as much support as it does now. Honestly to me it feels like now or never, a little exaggerated i know but hey...that what it feels like to me.

hopefully it will pass this year, because we got many supporters in this year. however, if it doesn't pass this year, i think it will never happen again.

i really hope it passes this year or VERY early next year. i know a lot of us here are really desperate. i, thankfully, do not have to work yet. but i just want it to pass already so that i could work and have my own stuff and go and do what i want in life.

well male republican. i know that you want that student to make it in. but u have to consider that for some people this might be their last year of eligibility.

either way i really do hope it passes very soon.
