Hi, I am a reporter working for the Carnegie-Knight Foundation news project, News21 (www.news21.com), through the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. I am writing a story about undocumented students/recent graduates and would like people to contribute to a "journal" I am putting together.
Basically, I would like people to grab a regular sized sheet of blank paper (8 1/2" x 11") and write/draw/glue whatever you'd like to tell your story and express what you are going through. You can be as creative as you want - like including a photo that illustrates your thoughts, for instance. My goal is to get a better and alternative way of experiencing your stories besides reading quotes from a regular news story. You do not need to identify yourself (can use first name only), but I do need a way of contacting you, either by email or phone.
