I write to you on behalf of Educators for Fair Consideration, an organization rooted in San Francisco with the mission of helping undocumented students (like me) going further with their education. As you may all know, with the help of various groups and individuals, there has been a tremendous advancement in information and resources that has allowed high school students to transition onto a four-year institution.
However, we have yet to come up with a comprehensive/informative guide to "life after college." That is exactly where we wish to begin! My goal is to briefly interview a group of undocumented individuals who have graduated from a four-year institution and have found a way to enter graduate/professional schools, established their own workforce, entered a job field, etc.
It was recommended by Prerna of Dreamactivist.org, and other fellow DREAMers, that I speak to you. The interview will be done either via e-mail or phone (whatever you choose) and the information given to me will be kept anonymous, if you wish to do so.
Thank you, This will allow us the chance to ultimately create a guide that will eventually help all undocumented students who are in the process of graduating.
P.S. You do not have to be currently undocumented.
