I made this thread because I'm just a little curious about other peoples' situations.

As I have been coming to this site more often lately, I noticed some are lucky enough to pay for in-state tuition, have a DL, have a SSN#, have a social life, etc.

From 1-10; 10 being the worst, how bad is it??

In my situation, I would probably say a 9 or an 8. I know our lives are nowhere where they should or could be because of our situation but my life just plain 'sucks.'

I have no social life whatsoever; perhaps the main reason being my embarassment. Work? well, I've tried applying to various places but because of the economy and my state being so damn strict, it's quite difficult. So what do I do then? I help my mom clean apartments, ehh embarassing and I hate it BUT that keeps me occupied and at the same time, it feels great to help her. What else? hmm, college. I go to a CC and even though I live about 15 minutes away from the campus, I have no option but to pay as an out of state student ($2000 per 2 classes). Obviously, I can't drive and it really is such a pain but I'm trying to hang in there like all of my fellow dreamers.

Well there, I gave a little bit of my life away and would you guys share some experiences as well? or maybe just write a litte and give your rating from 1-10?

Thanks!

Since I have a driver's license, car, great friends, and a positive attitude, I would say around 3 or 4. Most of the time I feel "normal" except when trying to find a job. But other than that it's not too bad. I think being positive is half the battle.

You live with your parents? Then substract 5 automatically.

Although I have SSN, DL, in-state tuition and couple of buddy to drink sometimes, being all alone sucks. Haven't seen my mother in 7 years.

I would say 3 or 4. I make a lot of money, more than most of my friends who are college grads. I have a SS, a drivers license, a beautiful car, and I live with my parents so bills are cheap since we split costs. Plus, I pay in state tuition which is great. On the other hand I do feel this is holding me back. The things I've had to do to get to this point in my life haven't been easy.

1 or 2, I guess. I can't really complain. I live the same type of life the majority of my friends live so eh. And I also don't live in Arizona so I shouldn't be complaining haha.

Lol. I'm a guy.

I work for a company I can't say on here since due to my status I shouldn't be working there but that's a story for another day and nights and weekends I bartend.
