Well everything is pretty much said here, the immigration reform wont be in another one to two years. My parents dad doesn't have a job, saved money is being spent, I'm wasting time not being able to go to school and be like a normal teen. I'm pretty much wasting my time waiting around for this reform, my parents got here did some good money and now its going away all because we cant work anymore ( we live in Arizona) so we are going back home so i can be able to go to college. My three younger siblings were born here hopefully i can get my papers fixed by one of them i know it takes time, but by then i will have a career. I'm a bit pissed because i wish i was like my sister, born here. So i could come whenever i wanted and be able to work and stuff, but i think i will have a good life back home in our home country too. I'm planning on opening a cybercafe to pay my college plus my aunt is very sure she can get me a job at a school kinda like a security. From there i will jump my way up to a teacher, maybe a English teacher. My sister was almost done with cosmetology and she knows all that stuff very well, my parents are planning on opening a salon for her and my parents used to have a Tortilleria business back when we lived there so i think we will do good.
I know if i move back home and right after i move if a reform is done i will sure be pissed as hell lol, but hey i just want to live life you know. I want to drive like a normal teen without having to freaking worry about getting pulled about messing up with the law go to school get my own place have my own business. Just hoping me the best man

I wish you all the best, I also feel like I am wasting my youth, I still have some patience left, but it's only a matter of time. I will probably end up doing the same as you. :[

I also want to be a teacher :]

Dang bro, i feel you.. I came to the US when I was 10 and even though i still remember Mexico, I don't wanna go back but I understand you're intentions. You probably don't remember Mexico at all! I also thought about moving back because I want to live a normal life like a teen. I graduated 2 weeks ago and I'm trying to find a job but i can't because they all require legal status =/. I'll probably end up moving back too.

I thought you were moving to New Mexico ? It really sucks but hopefully everything works out for you. This whole immigration situation keeps you waiting. As soon as you plan to leave you will hear hopes of reform and dream passing and then you stay and well nothing happens.

It takes a lot to just pick up and leave so props to you and everyone else that has done it.

Living like a third class citizen is not exactly my idea of a dream life so I respect his opinion. His decision is perfectly valid and just as tough as staying here as he has to get used to a different life. Go insult someone else, Jefe.

Not everybody is a leach like you eager and willing to live off of somebody else. They obviously value self-sufficiency a lot more than you do. Who are you to criticize him for his decision? – YOU’RE AN IDIOT!!!

Franko good luck. Hopefully all works out for you…
