Alright, so I've decided to move back to Las Vegas, but this time I'm going to live alone in a apartment.

Luckily for me, I'm only going to pay about 175 dollars a month for rent. I don't have to pay rent till' I get a job, which kinda gives me some relief.

I'm going to live close to the university I'm going to attend so that's a major plus.

I have a friend that wants to move in as well, but idk. I've never actually had a roomate.

Give me some advice DAP members. (I'm kind of scared TBH)

Is the roommate a good friend of yours? Someone you trust? Is he responsible? Has a job?

Well for starters it's a girl. She does have a job, but I'm not sure if she is responsible.
I'm just worried because I see her as a friend and only that. Some of my "wiser" friends told me, if were going to live together ALONE, chances are were gonna sleep together, or have sex.

I know, but I'm very good at self-restraint. But if my friend seduces me, what will I do then?

oh, c'mon that's so much bullshit. You don't have to sleep w/a girl because she lives under the same roof. If ground rules are set, I don't see a problem and it sure as hell beats having to cook all the time or having to pay the rent yourself. If however you don't know this girl too well, privacy may become an issue (can't scratch your balls, fart at will, or walk around the house naked, etc...)

I know that! And she's one of my best friends from HS, and she does not cook. :l

I don't know you, and I don't know her, so I can't say shhh other than if you do move together, don't sleep with her, or your friendship's doomed for a minute.

Well I think it could be a fun experience :]

Either you guys will become a lot closer or the friendship may go bad, but if you don't try it you will always be like "What if...?"

lol that's just me though and also the rent is very good :]
