I know we've talked previously about getting pulled over with an intl license.. Some got a ticket while others were let free with a warning.
I was wondering.. Has anyone here or someone you know got in an accident while driving with an intl license? Did u call the cops? Did the other party involved in the accident called the cops? What happened?

Cops don't make the call and refer the case to a judge in most cases. You will face some kind of trial, and it's upto the judge to decide if he/she could accept the international license.

If you have an international license is valid. The issue is to also have insurance.

Now, that's tricker. I ve looked into it and not every company will insure you, the ones that do will give you higher premiums and then there's the issue I am not certain about, whether they ll insure you as long as your visa is valid...
