Hi everyone my name is Curtis and i've lived in Florida most of my life, to be exact 11 years. I graduated high school in 09 with a high school diploma. I'm currently 18 years old and turn 19 in December, ive been out of high school since then taking online classes with pen foster an online college to earn my associates degree(doesnt require any information). I have no status in the US and have no SSN or identification. I want to transfer to a good 4 year college in florida like FAU but am not sure if i can or if there is any way for me to do this, i plan on getting an apartment no dorm to lower the expenses. Any help would be nice or suggestions on what i can do.
If any more needed information is required or need to be known, ill do my best to quickly respond.

Thanks in advance

Hey GoodIntentions, there are many 4 year colleges that will take you in without SSN.

Your best bet is to make an anonymous phone call and just ask them.

PS- Apply for an ITIN if you can.

As for you getting a house- that's a great idea and it often comes out cheaper than living in the dorms, but I don't know the details on that. You'll have to wait for someone else to answer that.

Your European Passport, will serve as a valid ID. Try and get your birth certificate as well- that will serve as another valid form of ID. Make copies of it, so that you can keep the original and use the copy as a form of ID.

If you have an ATM card with your picture and name on it, believe it or not some places consider that a form of ID, or at least a proof of identity.

You should not have a problem finding an apartment, if you can afford a deposit and subsequent rents. Places I have stayed at do ask for some form of ID though... I gave my school ID.
