Is this when you sign a 2-year contract, because I already have one with them--or at least my dad does.

And yes, I believe you can use your ITIN. That's how my dad opened a contract with them last year.

I just started a new contract with them a few weeks ago and used my ITIN. I did it online. I don't know how it works in-store.

Started a new "buy new phone/plan" deal, looked for the phone I wanted, selected "free with 2 year contract." It asked for my ID number which I was surprised to see the "Matricula Consular" was in the drop down menu. I put in my ITIN and the rest of my billing info.

I clicked submit but then it said something went wrong and asked me to chat with a live chat representative. They said they had to call me to verify some questions and I allowed them to. All they did was ask, "Do you have a loan?" I said, "No." And they asked, "Do you have a bank account?" and I said, "Yes, I have a checking account." And then they said, "Great. You qualify for up to four different lines."

They accepted my request and three days later I had my new phone.

No he just told them he didn't have a SSN, so they asked him for an ITIN instead and that's what he gave them.

Android sucks. I love T-Mobile but their current phones suck. I really wish they hadn't discontinued the Sidekick.
