DREAMs not schemes‏

This morning, we saw just how far Republicans in the Senate have moved away from their support of common sense, bipartisan immigration reform.

At one time or another, 11 Republican Senators currently in office supported the DREAM Act. Now there are only two who will say so publicly: Senator Lugar and Senator Bennett.

To make matters worse, today Republican Senators delivered a letter to Majority Leader Harry Reid to try to prevent the Senate from voting on ANYTHING but taxes-- including the DREAM Act. All 11 Republicans signed onto the letter to block DREAM!

Remind Republican DREAM supporters that political schemes kill young people's dreams.

These are not abstract facts and figures we're talking about. These are young leaders like Gaby Pacheco, who are as American as apple pie. They graduated at the top of the class and want nothing more than to give back to the country they call home.

Send a fax now-- encourage the original Republican DREAM Senators to support America's youth over naked political schemes.

Thanks for your dedication,

America's Voice

PS. Here's the full list of Republican Senators who have supported DREAM: Orrin Hatch (Utah), Chuck Grassley (Iowa), Jon Kyl (Arizona), John Cornyn (Texas), Bob Bennett (Utah), Sam Brownback (Kansas), Susan Collins (Maine), Richard Lugar (Indiana), Kay Bailey Hutchison (Texas), John McCain (Arizona), and Olympia Snowe (Maine).
