If you could go back in time.. Do you wish your parents would've never brought you here?

Personally, I wonder if my parents thought about what would really happen down the road. I think the 1996 act threw some people in for a surprise. But now that I'm am where I am, I'm thankful I know english, that I experienced the US, and that its made me a MUCH stronger person and helped me to appreciate the little things so many take for granted, like driving, getting a job legally, ect. So no, I don't wish I had never been brought here.

Absolutely not. I met so many people here and enjoyed living here so much, that I cant even think about life in Mexico.

Sorry to burst anyone's bubble but yes, I do wish I had never lived here. Living like this for so long has definitely taken it's toll on me.

i ask myself this question everyday. part of me tells me that everything that happened to me made me a better person but a part of me kinda wished i was never brought here. there was a stretch of time when i resented my parents so much because seems like i always get the short end of the stick when they make their decisions...i mean, i'm the only undocumented person in our family, relatives included which depresses me 'till this day every time i think about it. =,(

Not really. For all the miserable things I've gone through, my life is better here.

For me... its a toss up. I don't regret the move... I wouldn't mind either way... When my parents moved here from Brazil at the time, Brazil had serious financial problems but now Brazil is doing much better.

@hef107, where you from originally?
