Update: As you know, getting 60 votes for cloture on the DREAM Act is going to be a nail biter. Please take a few minutes and call these Democratic Senators who are leaning no or have said they'll vote against it:

Reid to file cloture tonight on DREAM Act and 'don't ask, don't tell'

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, from the floor of the Senate earlier this evening:

I'm going to file cloture tonight on the DREAM Act. We'll have a cloture vote on that Saturday morning fairly early. We're going to have a cloture vote tonight on don't ask, don't tell -- not a cloture vote. I'm going to file cloture on it tonight. So those will be sequenced for Saturday or whenever we get to them.

Great news!

Is he really going to let us down like this? .... I probably would do the same but,,, delaying couple of more days to get his checkup isn't really going to hurt the guy I believe... I wish him luck and good health.

No his staff have confirmed that he will not miss the vote on Dream Act and DADT on Saturday. Tomorrow he is just going for pre-surgery testing not the surgery itself. KEEP CALLING!!!!

I don't think he'll miss on the Dream Act and DADT vote because his surgery is set to be on Monday. So, I'm sure that's why Reid filed cloture to give Wyden a chance to hand in his vote, he'll be a 'Yea'.
