Short but brief article. Hope he touches up on immigration.

President Obama's State of the Union address will be Jan. 25.

House Speaker John A. Boehner (R-Ohio) set the date in an invitation he sent Tuesday to Obama to address a joint session of Congress.

"As many great challenges lie ahead for our nation, we welcome an opportunity to hear your proposals," Boehner said in the invitation.

The State of the Union is typically the biggest speech of each year for the president and when he lays out his legislative priorities. Obama faces the challenge of working with a Republican-led House and greater Republican minority in the Senate, possibly forcing him to scale back ambitions.

For once I actually agree with DA User...it will be a good speech judging on Obama's accomplishments these last few years...only thing he has to knock over are completely fixing the economy and tackling immigration because everything else seems to be running well. Also, expect him to keep extending an olive branch to the GOP like he did last night at the memorial at Tucson.

Only CIR possible next two yrs is with Graham & Mccain support and we all know where they standing at this point. So i have no hope of passing anything in next two yrs. Unless Smith and compny pass some Anti's bill though congress and that will make immigration issue center stage.
