Greyhound bus from LA to NYC

Hi everyone,

I was wondering does anyone have any experience taking greyhound from Los Angeles all the way to New York City?

Is there any border patrol checkpoints along the way? The bus goes thru Claremont, El Monte and San Bernardino in CA. Is that route safe? It continues to Las Vegas, then Denver, where there is transfer, and then all the way to NYC. I think the route the bus takes is over 100 miles from the Canada/Mexico border all the way to NYC. It also goes through Indianapolis and Columbus in Ohio.

Let me know if you have taken that bus before and how it went.

So, it's dangerous although the bus doesn't go too close to the border? It stays at least 100 miles from the Canada/Mexico border.

Can Border Patrol actually get on the bus in a bus station that is, let's say, 105 miles from the border?
