Right now I am in a situation where Im unemployed, and as a result, I couldn't afford to go to school this semester. I keep trying to find work, but it is really hard where I live especially since a lot of places are now using E-verify in northern Nevada. Also, since my grandmother is very sick, my mom and my brother, who are the only ones working, now want to go back to Mexico. So basically my two options have come down to going back to Mexico or stay here and be homeless..

Nevada's unemployment rate is the worst in the country right now, I would try a different state before packing it in, and definitely make sure you got a little savings

Me dude. The only reason why I'm going back is so that I don't get any legal bars when I try to come back later on in the future. You know, school-wise or labor-wise. If you haven't finished your studies here, why don't you look on Mexico's universities? When and if I go back, I'm looking at la UNAM, Tec de Monterrey, and the la UAM. I don't know, just throwing ideas out there.

It really varies, If the CA DREAM Act passes then I will stay here and pursue a BS in Physics/Engineering (dont know which kind yet) with that degree I think I should be able to get a decent job in Mexico if I ever decide to go back.

I've given it some thought but thinking about going back to my home country depresses me. The thought of probably never seeing the majority of my friends and family again makes me sad.
