Wouldn't valid passports, expired passports(the ones used when we entered), and school transcript be enough for overstayers for this process?

First of all, once we leave, we can't come back w/ or w/out inspection. So, the passports should be sufficient enough to show that we haven't left the country since we lost our status or in my case, since I have entered. Also, the valid passport proves our identity, and the school transcript proves that we have graduated, so it should be good enough?

I just think that rather than trying to send bunch of documents, we should keep it minimal with sending official documents to speed up the process...

I think overstayers get a little confused when it comes to this topic.

Actually, yes you can. If you EWI, who's gonna stop you from entering? LoL
Just because your passport/visa expired, doesnt mean you cant leave the country and sneak back in... aka EWI. You can even sneak OUT.

I'm talking about Overstayers specifically, not EWI. I know that EWI can do it, but for overstayers, they can't enter w/out inspection since they have to ride airplanes. Maybe, if someone's smuggled in, I guess so.

Incorrect. They can travel to Mexico from their native country and then EWI.

Passport with expired visa and 1-94 (That right there should prove 5 years of continuous presence in the U.S. depending on the expiration.)
Birth Certificate
School Transcripts (High School Diploma and College)
I'm sure if you have the expired visa in your passport that should be enough evidence for USCIS. Also having High school and college transcripts also showing 5 years of continuous will make sure your case fly's smoothly.

I'm sure it wont be a big deal as long as you have a passport. But having a birth certificate wouldn't hurt it'll make the process go as smooth as possible. All the people that can get one DO IT !! Its better to be prepared and have as many things as possible.
