so i've been feeling nervous for a few days because we only get one chance at this...but then i started to feel good about because im starting to think that if we meet all the requirements to the dot...it's really hard for them to say no...i mean they might request more evidence or an interview but to straight up say "no"... i don't think they will do that...anyone else agree?

They want to help us out, this a humanitarian relief. If we meet the requirements, which we're confident we do if where moving forward with this process, then they will grant us DA. I'm super excited, cannot wait to send my application in, next week!

It's really hard to tell. We have to wait to see people getting their applications accepted. More importantly, we will see what type of cases get accepted and which get denied.

Yes exactly. For them to say no it has to be real hard. Maybe a fraudulent application. Worst case scenario is that they will request more evidence.

theyre very simple guidelines tho... the cases that would be doubtful are the ones that have misdemeanors and such... besides that i think it should be pretty straightfoward.

I've already had a brighter outlook on my life. I was feeling pretty depressed (not supreme) and I had a habit of being really scared of cops. I feared they'll just ask me my status and then take my family apart. This weekend, I hung out with a friend and thought "man I can do this even more once I get a license. I'll FINALLY be more outgoing (I'm extremely shy and a lot of it is attributed to my status) and possibly make more friends this school year." I'm feeling pretty good.

Thats how most of us feel too. Our status affects some of us in our personalities...
