I have a question for my hispanic friends here.. What does it mean when somebody calls u pancho? I know what a pancho is but idk what it means in slang when ur calling someone that.. I work at this building that has this doorman thats always calling me pancho lol hes a cool guy but i have the wierdest feeling hes trying to diss me with that. So what do u guys think? Hes Dominican btw idk if that changes the meaning in slang??

I dont remember which country it was, Spain or Argentina, but calling someone a pancho means stupid or dumb. Or maybe he thinks your name is Francisco?

lol oooh really.. its funny how u just get a feeling and know things without even knowing. im gonna call his ass pancho too from now on. and no he definitely doesnt know my name. is pancho short for francisco or something? lol

Or just ask him why he keeps calling you pancho. Im sure theres different meanings for that word, you ask people from different countries and youll probably get different answers.

Yeah Chico is in portuguese and Pancho is in spanish

My name is Francisco and yes Pancho is a short nickname that people call Francisco. My family calls me by Panchito, Pancho.
