Hey guys!

I sent my application on 8/17 to chicago from ohio and I still havent even received a notification my app was received. I'm worried because a. I filled it out myself and b. There might be some confusion because of the names throughout the files. They vary in combination, for example last name is "ramirez ramirez" in one document, "perez ramirez" and another and just "perez" in another. This wasn't done on purpose, my last name changed when I was younger because I was recognized. I wrote a piece of paper explaining this but the more that I think about it the more I get worried I should have got a lawyer. Any one else around this time still waiting?

Congrats on those who have received it!

USCIS released additional tips and guidelines last week... one of which stated that it's best to maintain uniformity throughout the applications when filling out your name and other personal information. I'm sure the document has been received but it's probably going to take a bit longer since the files have different names.
