I don't know if there is a thread for this topic but I was curious to know what are people up to after receiving their documents.
Well, I will start with myself...
Sent my application in October, got approved in January (exactly 3 months).
I am 27 years old, finishing my BS in Biology and a BA in public health (double major baby!)
I am a surgery tech at a surgery center...I had an internship there for 2 years, and got hired the moment I got my papers..I only work part-time due to my school load...School comes first, of course.I got my DL, actually, I just needed to renew it. It felt great driving with a valid driver's license after so many years. I will be finishing school in 2014. Then the plan is to buy a house, have a baby (I am married) and work for a pharmaceutical company or the FDA (Hoping that by then i will have my green card already).
I am just extremely thankful for this opportunity, and that's why I do so much community service around my community. That's the least I can do to payback everything that this Country have done for me.
God bless Barack Obama!!! Thank you thank you thank you
