this has been posted a few times before. Basically driving in AZ with CA permit alone isn't against the law, the problem arise if you get pulled over here with a CA permit and they suspected that you got it thru fraud.....using someone else's CA address to get one without establishing residency that is required by law. Someone's lawyer had already said that (http://dreamact.info/forum/showthrea...awyer+fraud+az).

Also, it may not be possible to turn a CA permit into an AZ DL if that is the route you're going with.
