Hello, I am currently 24 years old dreamer...

I am a student and already obtained bachelors in 13 and working on pre reqs right now to graduate school...

I want to work in health care field but I need to be a resident or need to have student visa... which i can't have.

Anyways,

How come in the news or anywhere else, there is no news regarding in effort to pass dream act (not tuition) for dreamers?

Did politics gave up on us even though it's not our fault?

I wish CIR and Dream Act for legalization is a separate thing...

Do any of you can guess when it will get voted again and will it get passed?

Time is running out for me and for others...

thank you

Hey there. The dream act was last voted as part of a whole comprehensive bill in 2013 and as a separate in 2011. The only hope is for a democrat and republican to cosponsored a bipartisan dream act in the senate. There is little hope for the house since they voted several times to get rid of DACA and now expanded DACA and DAPA

So I guess it's doom for us...

i feel like the DREAM Act is dying, or at least the federal bill because now you cannot find anything related to the federal DREAM Act , every time you look for DREAM Act you either get results online about New York's or Texas' DREAM Act which doesn't even come close to the benefits the real DREAM Act would provide.

i think we are more likely to get a dream act than an actual fill immigration reform.
