For those residing in NY and have been approved for DACA:

Have you taken your NCLEX, or applying for it?
If so, question #22 under citizenship/immigration status which choice did you select?

The one that makes the most sense is choice H. Non-Immigrant (Temporarily in U.S).
On the blank space below for immigration status should I write: Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (c33)?

It's a new process so it only makes sense as to why it's not included as a choice.

Any thoughts?
Any information related to this is very much appreciated.

What you said is exactly what i thought before reading that line. It seems like that is what you would have to put. I would suggest you go visit a counselor at the nursing school(s) youre interested in. Usually, they'll be able to find out who can help you exactly. Most hospitals / major clinics have a lawyer on staff who can better assist you.

I already graduated. This is for the licensure to work as a registered nurse. I'm afraid that they won't really be acquainted with DACA and it might delay my application.

I contacted USCIS and he basically said, none of the other choices apply to me except for the non-immigrant one. The board of nursing does not take care of any immigration status questions so they'll refer me back to the USCIS.

I have a lawyer but he's not familiar with the licensure process.

I will . Good luck on your last semester! Which school do you go to if you don't mind me asking. Also, if you find out any information about this as well. Let me know

I go to Imperial VAlley College, its in CAlifornia in the Imperial VAlley a place like 2 hours away from San Diego. ..
I was supposed to graduate this december but I had to do a rotation to SD psychiatric facility and i didnt want to risk driving up there because there is a checkpoint on the way so i stayed one semester behind
I CANT WAIT FOR DACA!

I know how you feel. I graduated a year ago but didn't take my boards because of the SSN. I hope you get approved real soon.
