You gotta be a little more specific. Which ones are you talking about? Hope you're not referring to one of those google ads you get in the e-mail.

something called "empower yourself " and they claim to be a marketing firm for big companies such as netflix, amazon, ect...

basically you place adds for them online and when people respond to those adds you get paid and they pay u via paypal, direct deposit, or check. and oh I found it on craigslist.

Nope do not give them any information. Look for a legit job with a legit company. Someone that has a real physical address. Craigslist is full of scammers. Every now and then you will find yourself a good job through there but rare. I found a contract job through there but it was a legitimate nonprofit. It is also sometimes better to go apply in person for jobs. I only apply online if is a large corporation: Bank, retail, grocery chains etc...

If it is your first time looking for a job. You can also try a staffing agency.

Stay away from that shit.. Go out and get a job or sell stuff out your house on eBay.. Those things are usually scams and I'd never give my SSN out to some fuckers online

I agree with happy man, I knew a guy that applied to work "at home n make money easy " well
that turned out to be a complete scam! he was dumb enough to provide his ssn, bank account number for "direct pay deposit " and wiped out all is money n bought stuff using his ssn.

Don't do it. Just out of curiosity I went out and bought a prepaid card to do that (That way I was sure they wouldn't steal my info) and so I ordered one of those "work from home, posting links" programs. It's a total scam, you have to purchase other things as part of the program to get started which is hundred and hundreds of dollars, and without it you could't do anything.

I was told I would be just posting links and making money off of that(yeah, right) turns out you're basically selling whole sale products online. I've emailed them twice asking for a refund, and I have yet to receive a reply. It was a waste of 40 dollars, but at least I knew I was likely to get scammed. I just wanted to try it out anyway.

My cousin did one and he actually earned some money for posting stuff or doing entry jobs.
You can browse ODesk jobs. Most ODesk jobs are legitimate.

Half of the home jobs you find on the Internet are usually fake and even if they are legimate many of them are like ebay kind of entry work. Be careful if you are doing ebay/selling stuff for your Asian boss because most of the items do not honors patent/copyright and so you can get in trouble with custom one days.

Just browse ODesk if you really want to make some money.
