CALIFORNIA Dream Act Approval??

I have a question, hopefully someone can help me.

I applied for the CA Dream Act in late December......My parents didn't file income tax return for 2011, but I put "WILL FILE". I applied for the 2013 Spring Semester.

I then went to my College Financial Aid office and they told me my APP was incomplete....
....BUT the online APP website is down.

is there anyway that I can change or update my information?
Did I have to fill out the 2013-2014 Application instead?

First and first most, make sure you are registered for selective service (I'm still not, so my money is being held hostage).

If the online app is down, then wait for it to be back up. But if they updated with a new app, and your old info is gone, then yes you'll have to file again (the new app).

Make sure that, as soon as you complete it, talk to financial aid.

Does anyone know when they will start asking for the 2012 income tax???

So we have to first fill out the CA Dream Act App than go register to the College Financial Aid office.... First time applying for this and going to college.... any tips?

What school do you guys go to? Community colleges do it by BOG fee waivers, and CSU and UC does it with the online application. Be careful for the CSU one's because their deadline is March 2nd 2013 for Fall 2013 and Spring 2014. I don't know if UC's have a deadline.

Sorry I'm not too familiar with UC's system, try calling their financial aid, and if they can't help you, ask if they have a AB 540 financial adviser. If they don't have one, try contacting any AB 540 clubs or groups in the campus they can most likely help you.

It's kinda late to get monies for the spring

Cal grant for AB540 students starts on Jan 14. However, the website is under construction.
