Bank Account

i have an account with boa ive had for 3yrs.
i got my social security and id. i opened it my bank account with my passport and itin number. ive used it to deposit my check and have taxes directly desposited in there. should i close it and open an account since i dont want them to back track my history. or should i just update it?
