I believe that I am an American. I believe that every one of us that came to America as naive children who have good moral character and strive to better themselves through education deserve Deferred Action. We had no idea where we were going or what our lives were going to be as undocumented students. I have worked countless "under the table" jobs supporting myself through college and I'm still stuck working under the table jobs because I don't qualify for financial aid.

With that said, WE'RE THE ONLY PEOPLE THAT DESERVE CITIZENSHIP. I don't care how long even our parents have been in this country. I KNOW they work hard and I KNOW it's hard for us, but they don't deserve it. They knew they were coming here illegally and knew of the hardships to come. I was reading the NY Post today and a Hispanic woman came here when she was seventeen to become a seamstress and stated that she deserved it because she's been in this country for thirty nine years. It doesn't matter. She knew she was coming here illegally.

If Obama's new path to citizenship goes by just how LONG people have been here, then it's like honestly fricking amnesty. If he allows all these Asian nailworkers, Mexican busboys, African taxi drivers, and etc to become citizens, I'm gtfo of here. That's just going to degrade our country and make job opportunities ridiculous. He should just transition DA into Citizenship, I don't know what's so hard about that.

We were brought here as kids and are being put through hell even with our SSNs right now. Some of us were smuggled over the border, others have stayed past their visas, it doesn't matter. We're all equal. We've all suffered from financial and emotional damages. We're the only people that really deserve it. What is there to question?

Let me guess? you haven't been here for very long. People that have been here that long are most likely still going to go first. Because most likely they have USC kids that have most likely already filed I-130s for them. The only reason they haven't processed them is because of the 10 year bar requiring consular processing. We are not special snow flakes.

You sound very entitled. You really do not know how hard it was for us Dreamers 10 years ago. One could argue that hey you reached 18 and knew you were undocumented you had a chance to go home.

Don't turn on your own. Even your own parents. If they brought you here is because they were seeking a good life for you. What do you have against your parents?

I know I want my parents to have the protections that Citizenship offers.

I've been here for eighteen years now genius.
I have nothing against my parents. Of course I'm biased and I want my own parents to obtain citizenship. But that doesn't mean other people of their age who have been living in this country for the allotted time deserve it as well.

Because when you turned 18 you had the option to go back home. And i would imagine all that " suffering" would have been enough to make you leave. But no you stayed and hoped for something. You endured all this for a chance to prove yourself but now it seems its all about a idea that you already proved yourself and you should be rewarded for it. When there wasnt a reward announced in the first place. Almost as if you illegal joined a tournament and won it . won it according to your own standards and now want a "reward" while the judges are asking " but who are you we never admitted you to this tournament"

What what deserved is the opportunity to prove ourselves to this country so people can see what we are capable when given the chance.

I'm not turning against my parents. Obviously when I turn into a citizen I'll provide everything for them in return. The people who don't deserve citizenship are the people who have come here in their adulthood illegally. Get it now?

...YOU out of all people know why I couldn't go back when I turned eighteen. I've already been "Americanized" and if I don't know how to even speak my language fluently how would I survive in my "home" land? Don't be stupid. I'm only saying people who don't even know English fluently but have been food vendors for 20 years don't deserve it.
