doesn't matter, as long as they sign their names along with their address...

i would type it just so that its more legible.

yeahh ill just tell them to type it in and get a copy of theirs california id or license i would think its better

If you can get them notarized, it would be even better, but if it's not possible, then attach a copy of their ID or License to the letter.

and one thing arenn't notarized letter need like the stamp or seal thing or just with signature and oath is fine???
