Hello,
I am wanting to become a pharmacist and want to go to a college that includes a pharmacy school, which would mean 2 years of undergrad and 4 years of Pharmacy School.

I have an SAT Score of about 1900, a 4.3 GPA, and have lots of extracurriculars. I live in Georgia and I cannot go to UGA or any other pharmacy school due to the board of reagents.

I am retaking the SAT soon and it will only go up (maybe over 2000 this time).

I am very focused on becoming a pharmacist and I would appreciate it if someone could help me find a good college (with pharmacy) in which I could gain a scholarship to make it under 10k a year for college.

I don't now about Pharmacy school, but there are many public universities under 10 grand a year. Surely you don't expect us to do the work for you. It's your life.

In Georgia?

You won't be able to get into any of the "top" (by GA standards at any rate) 6 State Universities (UGA, GS, GSU, etc.). If you do, you'd have to pay out of State. But you know this already.

And private colleges will cost you close to 10k - before scholarships.

If you mean to remain in GA, you could opt to: a) take your first 2 years at a community like GPC with the expectation of getting some form of legalization within that time frame and transferring (GPC credits are usually fully accepted in most 4-year universities in GA); b) apply for private universities and see what offers you might be able to accrue with your present scores; or finally c) go out of State.

Of course, in the spirit of the comment of the above poster, these alternatives are by no means exhaustive. Do your due diligence and research and don't be afraid to put yourself out there. Schools, especially private colleges are willing to extend a hand to those they deem worth their while.

One option is to move to NYS, live here for a year to get instate residency status and apply to one of the CUNY or SUNY pharmacy programs. It will be under 10K per year tuition. The only downside is the cost of living will be fairly high.
