Possible ID/DL in Illinios with undocumented and SSN?

Thanks for the great forum and great info, learned and helped me alot. I'm currently in Los Angeles and think of getting an ID in IL as the requirements seem to fit me. I came to the states after 16 and overstayed, so no-DACA but I do have a SSN(with "not authorized to work" stamp) and a blank passport.

After checking IL requirements, seems that they need SSN but don't check status, is it so? Here is the list:

My university transcript does not have my date of birth on it and I also don't have a birth certificate(no such thing in my country at the time when I born) so I need use my blank passport as "Group B" to prove my DOB. So here is my question and hope someone can help.

1. Is I-94 necessary? its not mentioned in the PDF but was posted somewhere else. As I have an expired I-94 and I would rather not showing it.

2. Will a transcript(without DOB)+blank passport satisfy "Group B" requirement?

3. Do they check legal status? or just verify SSN? Would completely give up if they run a status check.
