I dont remember they ever had such questions back in 2012 application.

Now, ethnicity has two choices: Hispanic, Not Hispanic

And race has 5 choices: White, Asian, Black, American Indian/Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian/Other Pacific Islander

Now, being Mexican, do we just select Hispanic (under ethnicity) and leave race blank?

Select American Indian and White lol.

None of those options are entirely correct.

I hate that question too. I am Hispanic, but not white, black, nor the other they listed.
So I guess I'm just putting Hispanic as ethnicity, and leaving race blank.

Correct, a lot of Mexicans are labeled White if they have white skin. If you have black skin, well you put Black on Race and Hispanic on ethnicity and so forth.

Brown skinned Mexicans are considered racially white in America? 0.o

I'm leaving it blank. Doubt it is of high importance anyways.

During the 2010 census, I was told to put down white.

Yea, I usually put white. My color is not exactly white, but I consider myself as leaning more towards the white side than the black side.
