Dad got deported

Hello my dad recently got deported. Wanted to know if anyone has knowledge of what would happen to our green card application. His usc mom filed for him and put me and my sister under him when we were little we are both now under 21. we were basically playing the waiting then this happened

I'm sorry to hear about your dad, especially considering today. The relationship between your father and his USC mother has not changed because of removal. The green card application should still be on file. I don't know what your father's reason for removal was but it could be very difficult to approve at the US embassy in his home country based on a negative immigration history.

It also shouldn't change 245i eligibility if he met those requirements, and as such his children should still qualify as a derivatives.

Sorry to hear that. There are a lot of circumstances here so this is definitely one of those "need to talk to a good lawyer" situations, but the application itself should stand. Now what happens when his priority date arrives is tough because there is that 10 year rule. I'm not sure what happens if he had entered the country legally and THEN deported, or what happens to your part in this if he can't enter the country so a lot of questions here. Are you going to be under 21 when the priority date arrives?
