Renewal Packet Sent back

I made a mistake and forgot to sign the "Requestor Signature" and only signed the last page.

I received my packet back today, signed the form, and sent it back today to be delivered tomorrow.

It had the green form instructing me to place it on top.

Just thought I'd document the timeline in case anyone makes a similar mistake.

Will keep everyone updated.

Does someone know from past experiences if an application is rejected and sent back if you lose your place in line?

I received the green form to place on top and it looks like the application was scanned.

In the rejection notice it had a case number LINxxxxxx

Question: was this after you got notification text/email from USCIS? Or you never received those?
