Asking as my dad is soon to become US Citizen, and I've looked over the options way to many times to come up with a decision if something can be done. ;/

Have him file I-130 on your behalf. You'll be waiting around 7 years.

Hi,

I am on the same boat as you and I can tell you with certainty that unless you entered the country legally ,i.e, with a tourist visa, etc, AND your dad filed for you before 2001 OR he filed for you before you turned 18 then all that you can hope for is a consular process, meaning that you will have to wait for a visa to become available in about 7 years and you will have to request a waiver so that you can leave the country for the interview at the US embassy in your home country.

Incidentally, thanks to DACA getting advanced parole is now easier than ever so this is now a more viable option. Even so, there is a long waiting time.

Best of luck
