ok so I've decided its time i do college. however like most of us i don't have the funds for it. is there any student loans us dreamers can get i have a pretty good credit score 730. I'm from georgia if that helps i really wanna start school and get a head i don't mind taking on loans. I'm pretty good at staying with in budget and paying off any debt.

College in GA? Your fook--

More seriously, check this out when you have the time:

http://www.cobbk12.org/pebblebrook/G...20Students.pdf

Bear in the mind of that deleterious and pernicious Board of Reagents Decision AND HB 87, which:

"In October of 2010 the board of Regents put into effect a law that bans undocumented students from enrolling in the state’s most popular public colleges. These colleges include the University of Georgia, Georgia Tech, Georgia State, the Medical College of Georgia and Georgia College and State University. These colleges stopped accepting undocumented students beginning fall semester of 2012."

In case you can't read or be bothered to (p.22):
"The following are just a few of the companies that offer priva te loans to students. Contact your bank to see if they offer student loans.

Aye, do not despair.

Georgia Perimeter College/Dunwoody (since your near gwinnett i assume) is a reasonably good school - more importantly, most credits are transferrable if you should decide to go on to a 4-year school.

Out of state tuition, apparently, is around 4k per semester for full terms.

For my part, I was fortunate enough to graduate from a 4-year University before the 2010 affair, and pay in-state due to a loophole provided in 2006.

Loans are a bad idea for most people. People who get loans tend to be the ones who take classes they don't need, drop out of classes, and overall not pay attention to their expenses. Work your tail off and go to a community college. It's amazing how when you write the check and see your hard earned money, how much faster you graduate and how much less you spend.

Id get a loan, or move to a more friendly state, live there for a year to build residency then enter school.

check this website out

http://www.thedream.us/colleges/

Also, check out private institutions, if its regionally accredited (the gold standard in accreditation), you will likely be better off than paying out-of-state at a state university.

If what you wish to study can be done online, it may be worth checking out. Online isn't as bad as it used to be, but you need to put effort into getting internships, even non-paid to build the right connections. If you have absolutely no connections, volunteering is oft the best way to get started. Having the right connections and experience will matter more than where you get your degree from. (this applies even if you get your degree from a "good" college).
