Hello everyone..
I'm a first time applicant. I not quite sure what are thr steps to follow I would like to humbly ask all of you for guiden on this whole processing time..

Here is my timeline..
My attorney send my application in October 24,2014
Three days later the Chicago field office got them October 27,2014

Nebraska service office accept my case on November 03,2014
On November 14,2014 the Nebraska service office send my biometrics appointment for December 02,2014
In Hackensack NJ..

What should i expect on my appointment. Should I be nervous?
Do I need to bring my attorney ?

Is there any applications I need to fill out?
What should I expect after my biometrics are taken? What come next?

Your advices and help would be very helpful..
Is my processing time been fast or it will go slower after biometrics?

THANK YOU SO MUCH IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR HELP!

It is easy. You just go get your picture taken and provide finger prints.
No attorney needed.
Be on time.
Take your passport to use as ID.

There is no reason to be nervous its as easy going as it gets. First off no need for an attorney..Go on your appointed date or you can do a walk-in earlier. The guard is going to ask you for ID and the biometrics letter. Once inside, you're going to fill out a form just for basic info. After that, you will be assigned a number. They will call your number and perform the biometrics on you. Just going to fingerprint all your fingers and take a photo, which will be the one for your EAD.

Thank you,
What is a walk in earlier?

What basic information you will be asked?
After the biometrics are taken what is next.. What will be the waiting time to-get finally approve ?
Is the time processing of my application average or fast?

Sorry to ask so much.. I appreciate your help very much.. Thank you.

What part of taking your biometric letter, and ID and showing up on time do you not understand? that is IT. Literally it, its as easy as that.

A walk in is when you go earlier than you date. When I went to take my bio, there was one person who did a walk in but was told they would have to wait until every single person was done. There hasn't been any concrete proof to back up that doing a walk up progresses your application faster

As a first time applicant I don't know the things many if you already know...
I was told that I was suppose to fill out a paper with basic information. So my question was what kind of basic information I will be asked so I can be prepared and know better..

There no reason to be aggregated by this questions.. I didn't offend you so I would appreciate that you shouldn't insult others.

Anyways thank you to thr rest for your help.. I'm very anxious csnt wait to go

I didn't insult at all. Show me where? We can't fill you every single small detail here. But if you must know here's what will happen. You will enter the center, USCIS armed personnel will greet you asking what yours purpose there. You will tell them you came to do your bio and show them your letter. They will grab it and take a look at it. You then will be asked to pass through security check. This will take 2 minutes if there's no line. Once inside there will be a receptionist, ask this person where the biometric area is. Should be the first room. Once inside there will be some desk people who will give you a callw number and a form to fill. Very basic information. Your A# your receipt number, name birthday , gender ect. Once that's filled you give it back to the desk person and then are asked to wait. Once you're called , you will be taken to a both or area where your fingerprints are taken. This should take anywhere from 10minutes to closing time depending on how many are. My appointment was for 12. Came at 11:30 and by 11:50 I was out. They will put people who are time for their appointment first.

Any more questions?
