Hello everyone,

So as I was renewing my ga license today I started thinking whats going to happen when when these 2 years go by as the previous 2 went by so fast. Seeing as I cant go to school because of huge financial reasons. I was thinking whats everyones plans after daca expires as there seems to be nothing happening for us in the foreseeable future.

My best advise to everyone out there with an approved DACA its try to adjust status ASAP
Contact a good lawyer and check your options.

Either by marrying your significant other, or thru family petition anyway you can, you should do it now

Good luck for everybody

Dont have a SO at the moment. I did have a petition for green card which i am under, beneath my dad and the priority date is 2 years or so from being current. Unfortunately hes now in mexico so dont know how thats an option now. As to waive the 10yr ban from AP, i think it would be hard for me to get my ap approved as they will see there isnt a significant reason to approve me.

The first time around? I believe i bought my passport,
Ead, ssn, and the 2 approval letters from uscis (1 from ead and other daca) and maybe a letter from ssn showing my address. I cant remember if they asked for all of them but that is what i brought just in case.

I will use my daca to obtain a job and my husband and I are going to be adding my name to a lot of our accounts that for all purposes have been joint, but because they required that I either have a license or have some sort of legal status was not able to add my name to them. We are also expecting a baby and once I deliver (and recover) we will resume trying to adjust my status to PR. Our hope is that in the 2 years that I have DACA we are able to successfully adjust. I also want to put my masters to use. I have a wish list of things I want to do...I'm just happy I'll be able to drive my baby (once it's born) to its doctors appointments.
