Lost my tracking number, don't know what to do

Hi everyone, I am having a bit of dilemma. I don't know if my application for replacement of EAD has arrived or not. I sent my replacement forms in an envelope that included my two passphotos, copies of my notice of action letters, a money order for $485, and rform that notifies you know whether they have accepted the application. I don't have any tracking number with me so I can't go to the post office. What else could I do?

If you paid online, which you should do because they sent you all kinds of info to your email like tracking number... then uhmm chek there?

Post office - Where is your receipt? If you have one, take it to the post office and tell them you lost the tracking number and need it. From the receipt, they should be able to help you


Don't have a receipt?

I suppose you could go to the post office, tell them you were here at this date and this hour, you don't have a receipt but need to locate a tracking number.


Have you tried any of this?

I haven't tried asking them to locate my receipt. I'll try that next week.

Tell them the address your shipped it to, the date , and time should remember this. You probably paid in cash so it might make it more difficult.

I personally wouldn't if they cant give it which they probably won't because if everything else was correct, then the package should arrive there and if not it will be return back to you.

But next time take your phone and take a picture out of stuff like this. Make it a habit

Also, don't be alarmed if you don't get any emails or texts from USCIS. Even though you send the g-1145 form, their system forgets about it. Your best bet would be to wait out at least 2 weeks for your Notice of Action to arrive.

Like the poster above said, worst case scenario is that the whole thing would bounce back to your address.

Yeah I should probably start making copies of everything I send. :\ I sent them a money gram order so what kinda bugs me is that they charged the money order immediately but I can't even see who charged it so I just have to wait 2 weeks until they get back to me AND hope they get back to me confirming that they received my application.

Good news! I received an appointment letter for the biometrics by the end of the month!
