So I renewed at the end of last year and got my employment card in January as well as a i-797form however i did not get an i-797 renewal form

Now I recently got fired (4 weeks ago) from my old job, will this be an issue even though my employment card is valid for another two years? and if not what's the quickest way to get this problem solved?

i-797 is just a notice of action dude. If you didn't get it i'm sure you can contact USCIS and let them know that you didn't get it... you don't really need it as long as you have your work permit.

I don't see how getting fired would affect your employment status. Unless you got fired in the worse way possible (you committed a crime type of deal) in which case you have a record and might affect renewal for next time around (if DACA is still in effect)

What is the problem? You have the I-797 notice of action...which I assume is your approval.

During renewal, you can include copies of both your card scanned back and front.

You're EAD is not tied to any particular job. Getting laid-off and getting fired are totally different things btw.

A select group of immigrants that have the H1B visa or other work related visa or student visa have restricted work authorization meaning their status is at risk of getting canceled if they were fired, laid off, or sought work outside their industry.

The law allows DACA individuals to get work authorization based on their need and is unrestricted. Getting fired or finding another job is not going to affect DACA status
