Hi! I've been to Brazil twice for work reasons. Both times, no problems. 1st time they just asked me stanrdard questions like how long you've been out of the country, reason, where you work. 2nd time, no questions at all.

Please expect Brazilian airline employees to NOT know what an AP document so you have to explain you don't have a visa or green card and this letter authorizes you to enter the United States. Allow extra 30min for that lol.

My recommendation besides passport and AP letters is proof that you actually studied there or the papers that you submitted for the AP application, JUST in case they ask you further questions.

Boa sorte!

Hey I have a question if you could help.
I got my advanced parole approved and I am traveling to Amsterdam for work in January. They sent two copies of the approval, should I take one with me and leave the other copy behind just in case? What did you do?

Thank you!

hahaha o goddd no I am scared I might get nervous but I did kinda of guess brazilians wouldnt know what the Advance parole is. Would you be able to tell me what the stamp looks like on your passowrd is just a date or what else does it say?
Do they stamp the passport on your entry to Brazil or your Entry to the United States.
I am nerveous because I was told by the private institution in Brazil that I dont need a student visa becasue I will be gpoing to explote the culture and egain its a private institution not public so I am scred that when I intent to enter the US they will question me or doubt I actually went for the reason I went. Would you have any informaiton on that?

Remember each country has their own immigration and customs. So they will be stamping your passport when you're entering Brazil. Depending on your home country, you might need a visa to enter Brazil (also depending how long you'll be there) or not. If you have a connecting flight in some other country then you'll need to check if you need a transit visa.

You shouldn't worry about them doubting you if you actually go for the purpose you have mentioned.

If you're Brazilian they will just look at your Brazilian Passport and let you go (Policia Federal at the airport). If you're not Brazilian and you're carrying another country's passport, most likely you will get a stamp. This is all normal procedure.

Like the other poster said, you should not have any issues. Bring whatever document you used to prove you're going to study in Brazil when you applied for AP and show it to them IN CASE they ask you for it. ALWAYS say the very minimum to immigration officers.

I am mexican, I guess for students you do need a visa but as a tourist you dont. I talk to the director of the study abroad program and he stated that it was sufficient with just my passport becasue I was going to assist a private school and I was going to explore the culture. So I thought that was usper weird but thats what I was told to do ... specially becasue student visas take a long time to be processed. So I hope that works
