So okay I might have been overly negative earlier posts.

Let me introduce myself first.

My name is greentea,

I joined this website 9 years ago. Before that, the old members were in a whole other site that just escapes the name right now.

For those that don't remember, this site was actually a movement, we did calls, we wrote to the reps, we kept track of election cycles, protests, etc... why?

Because we truly had nothing to work with.. at least most of us. Sure we were educating, educated, planned to go to school, post grads but we couldn't work legally. I'm sure the majority after DACA had their lives turned around for the better, or so I hope it did. My life improved 1000%, my self-confidence, my ambition, my drive went through the roof. I finished school, a career(never dreamed I'd have one pre-DACA), and a new car that I legally drive.

Believe me I became complacent, I thought it was just going to be an annoying $465 fee every 2 years.. nope. It might actually end on 01/20/2017.

Anyways, this is the number one forums for Dreamact related topics. Believe me, more of our fellow DACA recipients will see this first and check for updates. Negative posts, posts filled with doubts, posts with anger, will come in the next few days, and that's a given and we should welcome them. Join the conversation, let your doubts be heard by the people that understand you the most.. your fellow Dreamers/DACA'er.

Personally, I don't know what to do, which is why I'm here to see what you all are planning on doing. We live different lives but this one piece of paper/status binds us.

Remember tho guys.. Dank memes can't melt steel dream(er)s.
