Any DACAers working for uber?

I recently applied to be an uber driver and I uploaded my SSN, DL, registration, and insurance but they didn't ask me to upload my EAD and I was wondering if I will or will not get denied since my ss card says "valid for work with authorization".

I applied and have been doing it for a few months now, they didn't ask for my EAD.

How does the process work. Did you have to change your car into one that's viable for a taxi. Is there a fee, special permit, etc? Does Uber pay a flat rate or is it prorated by the amount of hours/mileage you work?

It works with your phone of course, all you do it's sign up and then go through a background check. They its abou 80% of the fare rate. So basically if it's a ride it's $10 you get $8 of it. They do have a surges in areas where there is a high demand for drives in certain part of the city where you live, so they pay a bit more when that happens.
