Anyone here tried applying for Daca even though they were aged out by less than a year? I'm literally talking by a few months. I know in order to be eligible you have to be under age 31 as of June 15, 2012. I'm wondering if you knew of anyone who took the chance and they were successful.

Been a while but people who didn't meet the age restriction or arrival requirements have been denied.

There were some that got through the gap that they originally entered while under 16, left, and returned later while older (and met all other requirements). Mainly due to the poor wording that didn't require "continuous presence since 16", but only from June 15 2007.

Age restriction, and original arrival date - they are strict about it and won't look the other way.

Such a shame. Born in April, 1980 and aged out 1 year and a few months. Another aged out only 8 months and meets every single one of the other requirements. My friend really wants to try her luck but of course is afraid of wasting all that money for nothing. With one hand Obama gave and with the other he took away.

There were people here who got rejected by being out of age by weeks. I doubt they will look the other way around.
