Might as well have some fun with this.

So, this is a contest to see who can get as closest as to nailing down the details of the (hopefully) potential DACA fix bill.

Here's what you need to predict, along with the description of the scoring system:

1. DATE that the POTUS will sign the DACA fix - If you think he will never sign the fix or will sign the fix after 3/5/'18 (When DACA officially ends), just write N/A or any date after 3/5/18.

Scoring - 10 points if you can get the exact date. 5 points for coming within seven days. 3 points for coming within 30 days. 1 point for coming within 60 days.

IF you put in N/A or any date after 3/5/18 as your answer, you will either get A. 5 points (if the POTUS doesn't sign the fix by 3/5/18 ) OR B. 0 point (If the POTUS does sign the fix by 3/5/18 )

2. Will either chamber pass any DACA fix by 1/31/2018? Yes or No. A correct answer gets you 1 point.

3. Will either chamber pass any DACA fix by 3/5/2018? Yes or No. A correct answer gets you 1 point.

4. Will the POTUS veto any DACA fix (Even if he eventually signs the fix)? Yes or No. A correct answer gets you 1 point.

For the next three questions, assume the POTUS has signed the DACA fix. Those questions will not be scored, of course, if the POTUS doesn't sign the DACA fix by 3/5/'18.

5. How many years to Green Card: 5 points for getting it exactly. 3 points for getting it +/- three years. 1 point for getting it +/- five years.

You can answer N/A (Meaning the final fix will not include any pathway to green card/citizenship). If you answer N/A, you can get 5 points (If you are right) or 0 point (If you are wrong).

6. Will there be an age cap (As in, you can't be older than X)? Yes or No. 1 point for getting it right.

7. Will it allow you to travel freely (As in, for recreational purposes)? Yes or No. 1 point for getting it right.

TIEBREAKER - How many senators would have voted for ANY DACA fix (BRIDGE, SUCCEED, DREAM, etc, etc. DACA fix as defined by any legislation that allows people to work) by 3/5/'18?

You can answer here OR in this Google form: https://goo.gl/forms/Z3uNnkt5vwwrDiH43

DEADLINE - 12/22/2017

PRIZE - $20 Amazon gift card (or something equivalent)

Winner will be announced on 3/6/'18 or when the POTUS signs the DACA fix.

Charolastra: Quite some wishful thinking lol.
1. 12/22/17
2. Yes
3. Yes
4. No
5. 5 years to a GC and 10 years to citizenship (Flake's Bill)
6. Not sure what this means. If it is referring to the age of entry, probably 16. I don't think it will exclude aged out Dreamers.
7. Yes
8. Probably 60. I think the Republicans will minimize the amount of them voting for the measure.

Of course I'm not sure if there will even be a bill so this is my own version of wishful thinking/my way of procrastinating for a final in the morning. Personally, I can't tolerate a BRIDGE Act so if that passes, then I would be done.

I'll just cut to the chase, A BRIDGE Act like bill will pass at the last minute. Trump will have no issue signing it because it won't offer any path to citizenship or GC. So I predict a renewable work permit of some sort..

I hope for the sake of our ease of mind that you are incorrect about that but I understand your reasoning. I'm just posting a prediction in order to give myself (and others) some hope to continue going onward and I'm assuming that's why others are predicting what they are predicting.

So our fates worth only $20. I see.
