Top immigrants’ rights advocates advising Democrats on Capitol Hill say any deal to protect Dreamers this month will have to allow President Donald Trump to take credit for a border wall.

Conceding that any eventual deal will need Trump’s blessing to win over Republicans in Congress, they laid out a list of border security measures Friday that they hope would allow Democrats to negotiate a deal they could attach to a bill to continue government spending after Jan. 19.

I hate that we have to use the term "wall" instead of increased border security and that we're going to give Trump a win, but if that's what it takes, fuck it, let him have it.

A stand-alone bill is not passing, so they likely won't need Trump's blessing because Dems are going to have to ram it in through a must pass spending bill. I may be wrong but I think any stand-alone bill will lead to Trump bitching up and caving to his base.

Make no mistake, a standalone Dream Act without any White House demands in it will be vetoed so fast.

Build his stupid wall, wether imaginary, or real, or made out of his neon orange dead skin flakes, just give it to him. He'll be dead before it's even completed anyway.

It's a virtual wall made of technology and enforcement.

Yet so many people out there so convinced so delusional a clean, standalone bill should be passed.

LOL at them and sad for us.
