How are you ! Everyone

My most recent DACA renewal was approved on 9/18/2017, it expires on 9/18/19.

I know that USCIS has resume accepting renewals due to Fedreal Judge order.

Do you think I should send it my renewal again ? Has anyone with similar expiration date done so ?

Thanks very much !

I think you’ll be good, election cycle is 2020 so you will survive but really if you want to you should because it more months of work and protection. Go for it if you can.

Normally I would say send it, but my EAD expires about the same time yours and I'm not sending my renewal.

I would say give it a try if you have the $$$ yourself.

Don't apply for the DACA renewal grants / assistance because other people who expire much earlier should get those first.

My sister expires just a few days before that and we have both sent in our applications. I actually expire in October, so I would definitely say go for it!

You still have 2 years. All you and fresh here are doing is delaying it for people are about to expire.

Whoops. I thought OP said he expired this year. Didn't even read past the 10/18. My sister and I both expire this year.

Vze77ach, I think you should make that decision on your own. I thought you expired this year which would make renewing a prudent decision. But, with you not expiring until late 2019, I think you should consider how much time you'll lose by renewing now.

I’ve been thinking about it. I expire in October 2019. I will prolly send it just to get a few extra months in. No hurt in trying. If they reject it, they will reject it right away without cashing in the money. And I’ve seen people who expire in March and April 2019 get accepted. It’s really up to you. I might send my renewal end of this month.

I realize this is the million dollar question - but when is the latest we should wait to send it in? I was thinking of waiting but don't want to wait too long either! Need to start gathering docs. End of the month too late?

When do you expire? I would say if you expire within a year to send it in ASAP. I truly believe some relief will be passed in the next month or so. If that happens, you are golden either way.
