WASHINGTON — With a potential shutdown looming, a bipartisan budget deal that is expected to pass the Senate on Thursday faces a decidedly uncertain future in the House of Representatives. With the conservative House Freedom Caucus opposed to the agreement, it is unlikely to pass without Democratic support. However, Yahoo News obtained an email Minority Whip Steny Hoyer’s office sent to Democratic House members urging them to vote against the deal.

“DEMOCRATS ARE URGED TO VOTE NO ON THE BUDGET DEAL,” the message said.

That instruction was prefaced with a request for members to tell House Democratic leadership how they’ll vote on the agreement — a sign that party leaders are trying to figure out where their members stand. Indeed, multiple top Democratic House staffers told Yahoo News that there is uncertainty among members about how many will follow leadership and vote against the agreement.

There it is, leadership has asked them to vote NO.

Shutdown incoming? Trump wanted a shutdown over immigration.

I like a little chaos.

From what I heard on CNN live today the House has enough Democrats to pass the bill.

Found an actual article with a source link from what I saw on CNN earlier

(CNN) — House Speaker Paul Ryan said Thursday morning he believes he has enough votes in the House to pass the bipartisan spending deal reached in the Senate, which would significantly raise domestic and defense spending and avert a government shutdown.

“I think we will. I feel good,” Ryan, a Wisconsin Republican, said in an interview on Hugh Hewitt’s radio show, ahead of the vote on the bill in the Senate and the House.

Immigration debates begin on the floor next week. It would be dumb for Schumer, Senate Dems to oppose a spending bill when McConnell has agreed to move onto immigration next.

True. However I just find it funny that Chuck Schumer on his twitter literally hasn't talked about DACA in like a week and out of all budget talks. Maybe I missed something where the last time he mentioned they would want it in the next budget deal? Been out of the loop a bit and it's weird to come back to this dude talking highly of Turtleman McConnell.

Idk, politics I guess.

The word "think" is wishy washy.

Here's a tip for my fellow DREAMers.

When giving a speech, having a casual conversation, or more importantly conducting business, refrain absolutely from using the word "think" it makes you sound insecure, not confident, and unreliable.

Instead, omit the damn word.

"I think the most important takeaway from my speech is that frugality , regardless of how cheap people may think of you to be, you will come out richer in the end..."

Now remove the garbage word "think" and see the difference

"The most important takeaway from my speech is that frugality , regardless of how cheap people may think of you to be, you will come out richer in the end..."

Use WILL instead

"I think the fish and chips with a Sierra Nevada Torpedo IPA sound good."

Remove the wishy washy THINK

"I will have the fish and chips with a Sierra Nevada Torpedo IPA."

"I think this $100 face wash will be good for that disgusting pizza face you have."
vs
"I know this $100 face wash will be good for that disgusting pizza face you have."

See there you have it. Next time, monitor your speech and when you catch yourself about to say "think" remove that shit.

Another tip from yours truly BestBefore1984. Building confidence of DREAMers around the world. You're welcome in advance.
